Big news from the Roll’d fam: we’ve been named one of the best banh mi in Auckland<\/a> by Urban List. Their 2026 Best Of guide \u2014 the publication’s highest editorial stamp of approval, hand-picked by their Editors \u2014 features Roll’d Vietnamese among T\u0101maki Makaurau’s standout b\u00e1nh m\u00ec spots. Considering the calibre of the company we’re keeping on that list, we’re pretty chuffed.<\/p>

What Urban List had to say<\/h2>

Urban List singled out our go-to roast pork b\u00e1nh m\u00ec \u2014 the one with the crackling, buttery Vi\u1ec7t-style mayo, chicken liver p\u00e2t\u00e9, pickled carrot, fresh cucumber, spring onion, coriander and a touch of soy. They also loved the story behind the food: recipes inspired by Mama Hoang, a journey from Vietnam to Australia and now to Aotearoa, and the heart that comes with it, including our commitment to giving back to families and children in need in Vietnam.<\/p>
